Joining FAQs

How much is membership? Membership ranges from £29.99 to £44.99 a month for individual memberships. Couple, family, corporate and 65+ membership options are available. Call us or drop in and we can help you decide which membership best suits you.   How do I join? In order to become a member, all you need do is give us a ring on 01489 773890 and we can arrange it prior to your arrival, or pop in and do it in person. How long do I have to sign up for? We have options available to allow for flexibility. Our most popular membership is for an initial 12 months, however we also offer an initial 3 month option. Many members who start with this 3 month 'flexi' option, subsequently choose to move to the standard membership. How can members pay for their membership? We offer monthly memberships collected by Direct Debit. Can I trial the club prior to joining? You are welcome to try the club prior to joining. The £10 fee will be deducted from your joining fee should you decide to become a member.

Facility FAQs

Do you offer parking? We have free parking, with 90 spaces available. When is the fitness centre open? The facility is open from 07.00-22.00 Mon-Fri (last entry to the fitness facilities 21.00) and from 07.00-21.00 Sat, Sun and Bank hols (last entry to the fitness facilities 20.00). The only day we are closed is Christmas Day. Are there lockers available? Yes - we offer lockers in the changing areas, and additional lockers on the gym floor. Please bring a padlock if you would like to use one. Do you have shower facilities? Fitness members have access to our premium club quality changing and shower facilities. Can I bring a guest? Members can bring a guest for £10 per visit.

Fitness FAQs

Will I be shown how to use the gym?
You will be given an induction to the gym to help you get used to the gym and all we have to offer. Will I receive a gym programme?
One of our resident, qualified trainers will produce a personalised gym programme for you. What should I wear / bring?
Well fitted, flexible fitness attire will suit the environment best (loose clothes can get caught in equipment). Comfortable, supportive shoes (trainers) are highly recommended for training in. You should also bring a sweat towel and water bottle. How often should I exercise?
Everybody is different! As a general point of reference, 2-3 times a week on average is strongly recommended by health and fitness experts. More experienced gym users may use the club more often. Do you offer Personal Training?
Yes. Our Personal Trainers will help to motivate you and to reach specific goals. PT is available to members for £35 per 1 hour session (or £150 for 5 sessions, or £275 for 10 sessions). Non-members pay an additional £5 per session.
